Introducing me

Brandy is the name on my birth certificate and what my friends call me, but 7 years ago I became mom. I don't mind the change in name, in fact I love it. Other than Brandy there is no other name I like to be called, oh except babe, that one came almost 9 years ago. This December marks 9 years for me and John, wow 9 years, that's crazy to me. I just turned 29 in August and I about puked at that reality. I wondered where the hell time went, I swear I'm still 21ish. Than when I sat back and looked at my family it all came together, I could create a timeline. I was 20 when I met John and had just turned 21 when I got pregnant w/ my 1st son Elijah (Eli). I'll never forget when I told my mom I was pregnant, she said "PREGNANT, do you want to be pregnant" hahahaha. Elijah Lane DeAngelo was born May 22, 2003. There really is nothing on this earth that compares to the experiance of your first born baby. Everything is so new. There is one piece of advice I give to first time moms to be, enjoy your pregnancy. Yes they all look at me like I'm crazy and I'm pretty sure they are punching me in the face in their mind. But it's the truth. John and I finally started talking marriage a few months after Eli turned 1, lol yes I know a bit backwards. He proposed to me in August of 2004 on my 23rd birthday, in front of all my friends and family. I remember being really embarrassed at first when he called everyones attention and started thanking them for being in our lives, I thought he had either lost his mind or was drunk. Than he asked me to marry him, of course I said yes. (I think he was drunk though, hahaha but the plan was already in place) He's a pretty awesome guy, couldn't let him slip by ;) We knew we wanted another baby so we didn't waste any time. We got married May 7, 2005 and got pregnant w/ our 2nd son Evan the same month. I am apparently fertile mertile. Evan Nicolas DeAngelo was born Jan 31 2006. Sweetest kid on this earth. I think he's an old soul. I will save all the details of my boys for different blogs, because they for sure will need their own. We waited an extra year to try for another baby, so we tried Evan's 3rd birthday month and wouldn't you know it pregnant again that same month. I really am blessed, and believe I was meant to be a mom. John and Eli really wanted a girl, I honestly didn't mind either way. I actually prefer boys, and have always had a feeling I'd be a mom to boys. When we had our ultrasound and they said boy Eli, who was only 5 says, well maybe the next one will be a girl, lol love him. Easton was our "eventful" pregnancy to say the least. My first 2 went by w/ no excitement or concern. I think I had a total of 7 ultrasounds w/ the little guy. But through it all Easton American DeAngelo came into the world a healthy 8lb 2oz little boy born Oct 19 2009. He's now a year old and just the funniest little guy with a huge personality. I absolutly love my life. I have these moments where I sit back and look at the 3 E's and I'm in awe, I can't believe they are a part of me. I am blessed and more than a little spoiled. Speaking of spoiled, I need to clean out my fridge YIKES!!!!
